1.Who we are
Enhanced Electric LLC ("Enhanced Electric," "we," "us") is a licensed electrical contractor based in Greenville, South Carolina. This privacy policy applies to enhelectric.com and explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
2.What information we collect
We collect very little. Specifically:
- Information you give us through the contact form: name, email address, phone number, city, the service you're asking about, and any details you write in the message field.
- Communications: if you call, text, or email us, we keep a record of those conversations to follow up on your project.
- Basic technical information: when you visit the website, our server may log your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the date and time. This is standard server log data used for security and to keep the site running.
- Cookies and local storage: we use a single technical entry to remember your cookie banner choice and your admin login session if you're an Enhanced Electric staff member. See section 6.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or browsing history from other websites.
3.How we use the information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your inquiry and provide a quote or estimate.
- Schedule a site visit, perform the work, send invoices, and follow up after a job.
- Communicate with you about your project — by phone, text, or email.
- Keep records required for licensing, permitting, insurance, and tax purposes.
- Defend our legal rights if a dispute arises.
4.Who we share information with
We share personal information only when necessary, and only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business — including our web hosting company, email provider, accounting software, and field-service software (Housecall Pro) we use to manage jobs and invoicing.
- Permit offices and inspectors when work requires permitting or inspection.
- Law enforcement or regulators if we are legally required to disclose information.
- A successor entity if Enhanced Electric is sold or merges with another company.
5.We don't sell or share for advertising
Enhanced Electric does NOT sell or share your personal information for advertising or any other purpose, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), or similar laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states.
We do not run targeted advertising, install third-party advertising pixels, or transfer your data to advertising networks.

6.Cookies and tracking
Our website uses only essential cookies and local-storage entries needed for the site to work. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels at this time. See our cookie policy for more detail.
7.Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, you may have the following rights:
- Right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to access a copy of your personal information.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to delete personal information we have about you (with some exceptions).
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide different service quality because you exercised your privacy rights.
- Right to opt out of automated decision-making.
These rights apply most directly to residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and other states with similar privacy laws. We extend the same rights to all visitors regardless of state.
8.How to exercise your rights

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond within 45 days.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control opt-out signal, we automatically register that as an opt-out request — you don't need to do anything else.
9.How long we keep data
We keep contact form messages and customer records for as long as we have an active business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward (typically up to seven years for tax and warranty reasons). Server logs are kept for 30 to 90 days.
10.Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. The website is served over HTTPS, the contact form uses CSRF protection, and admin access is restricted with hashed passwords.
11.Text messages, calls, and TCPA
If you provide your phone number through the contact form or by other means, you agree that we may contact you at that number — including by SMS text message and including by autodialed or prerecorded means where applicable — about your project, scheduling, and follow-up. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of further texts.
Phone numbers and call records are not shared with third parties for marketing.
12.Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
